Meet Cicely

Cicely B. Hooten, PMHNP-BC, ACNS-BC

Cicely B. Hooten is dual certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and an Adult Clinical Nurse Specialist. She obtained both her undergraduate and master’s degrees from Troy University. Cicely fell into mental health by chance after looking for a new nursing experience. She later earned a post-master’s specialty certificate as a Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Alabama.

Cicely finds her ability to connect with others to be especially beneficial while helping people work through their mental health struggles. She has a passion for treating patients with adjustment disorders. Cicely also has extensive experience working with individuals who have experienced traumas, including Veterans. Her ideal patient-provider relationships are communicative and long-lasting. Cicely is very grateful for the opportunity to help others as they pursue mental wellness.
